WELCOME TO #SERVEGREENBAY
In 2017, my family and I felt God was leading us to leave our home in Phoenix, AZ, and move to Green Bay, WI. With this move came a vision to reach out to what some may call the “forgotten” of our city. We had a vision to not just be another church taking up space on a street corner, but to be a church that truly made a difference and changed our city.
That is what we have become. We just simply started using the little that God placed in our hands and he has MULTIPLIED it into what it is today. As you will quickly see, we don’t just sit around and talk about the problems our city is facing, we help SOLVE the problems our city is facing, and we are just getting started. It’s hard work, but all people matter.
With the number of people we reach every week and the amount of work it takes (as you will see from our weekly schedule), it takes many volunteers to pull this off. This isn’t just a “Green Bay First Church” effort anymore. This is a community effort to #changegreenbay, as we now have other people from our community stepping up to help.
So, if you are simply looking for a place to volunteer, meet some new friends, and make a difference in our city, we’ve got you covered. No strings attached, just the opportunity to love on some people.

SUNDAY
- BUS ROUTES (Take church buses to city parks, shelters, etc. to pick people up and bring them to church)
- 8:00 am – 10:00 am – Bus Ministry Pickup
- 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm – Bus Ministry Take Home
- NEED: Bus Drivers (Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement Required); Bus Captains (Keep Attendance, Help where needed)
- KITCHEN (Prepare and serve meals to those in need)
- 8:30 am – 9:45 am – Breakfast Prep
- 10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Lunch Prep
- NEED: Cooks, Servers
- CLOTHING CLOSET (Assist people with clothing needs)
- 11:15 am – 12:00 pm
- NEED: Clothing Sorters; Clothing Assistants
- FOOD PANTRY (Assist people with food needs)
- 11:15 am – 12:00 pm
- NEED: Food Sorters; Food Assistants
- PARK/HOTEL OUTREACH (Take and serve food to people living in parks and hotels)
- 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
- NEED: Servers
MONDAY
- FOOD PICKUP (Drive to local restaurants and/or grocery stores to pick up donations)
- Flexible hours anytime between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- NEED: Drivers
- FOOD BAGGING (Prep all food bags for the week with non-perishable food items)
- Time Varies
- NEED: Food Baggers
- FOOD UNLOADING/SORTING (Help unload trucks and process)
- 10:30 am – 1:00 pm
- NEED: Food Unloaders; Food Sorters
TUESDAY
- FOOD PANTRY (Assist people with food needs)

WEDNESDAY
- FOOD PICKUP (Drive to local restaurants and/or grocery stores to pick up donations)
- Flexible hours anytime between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- NEED: Drivers
- FOOD UNLOADING/SORTING (Help unload trucks and process)
- 10:30 am – 1:00 pm
- NEED: Food Unloaders; Food Sorters
- BUS ROUTES (RUNS MARCH-JUNE & SEPT-DEC) (Take church buses to city neighborhoods to pick up kids and youth and bring them to church)
- 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm – Bus Ministry Pickup
- 8:00 pm – 9:30 pm – Bus Ministry Take Home
- NEED: Bus Drivers (Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement Required); Bus Captains (Keep Attendance, Help where needed)
- KITCHEN (RUNS MARCH-JUNE & SEPT-DEC)
- (Prepare and serve meals to the kids and youth that come in off of our bus routes)
- 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
- NEED: Cooks, Servers
- KIDS AND YOUTH LEADERS (RUNS MARCH-JUNE & SEPT-DEC)
- (Assist in the Wednesday Night services)
- 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- NEED: Security; Hall Monitors; Class Monitors
THURSDAY
